چکیده
Objective Dyslipidemia, in particular elevated triglycerides (TGs) contribute to increased cardiovascular risk type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). In this pilot study we aimed assess how TGs affect hepatic fat as well polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) metabolism and oxylipin formation T2DM patients. Methods 40 patients with were characterized analyzing routine lipid blood parameters, medical history clinical characteristics. Patients divided into a hypertriglyceridemia (HTG) group (TG ≥ 1.7mmol/l) normal TG within the reference range < 1.7mmol/l). Profiles of PUFAs their oxylipins plasma measured by gas chromatography liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry. Transient elastography (TE) was used content controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) (in dB/m) degree liver fibrosis stiffness kPa). Results Mean value CAP body index (BMI) significantly higher high compared those TGs, correlation analysis showed concentrations increasing BMI scores T2DM. There profound differences levels between these two groups. Cytochrome P450 (CYP) lipoxygenase (LOX) metabolites generally more abundant HTG group, especially derived from arachidonic (AA), eicosapentaenoic (EPA), docosahexaenoic (DHA), γ-linolenic (γ-LA), α-linolenic (α-LA), strong different pathways observed. Conclusions adult T2DM, associated BMI. Furthermore, also had CYP- LOX- oxylipins, which could be novel indicator inflammatory pathway activity, target dampen activity.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and chronic periodontitis (CP) show common pathophysiological features. We investigated the serum levels of IL-23 and IL-35 in people with type 2 DM and CP. Methods: In a cross-sectional study, 72 patients were divided into four equal groups: group A, participants without type 2 DM and CP; group B, patients with type 2 DM without CP; group C, patients ...
